Our Motivation

Our Nourishment:

2/16/10

Well, I don't have customers to motivate me from Nov. to May, but the calves motivate me--they are so tiny and so helpless, it just makes me want to keep them warm & dry.  A cow's body temp is 101deg.F., so they actually like colder temps rather than Alabama-like summer temps!  I love to see the calves all bundled up in their "calf jackets"--they are quilted underneath w/canvas on the outside.

"You're an inspiration that I can only hope to emulate."  --customer from Watch Hill

Send us your comments about the farm!  All we need to hear is someone saying "That was A-MAZE-ING! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" THAT'S ALL WE NEED, then we're all fired up to go another 1000 miles, (or another 8 miles, as the case may be!  The customers are my motivation (well, that, and the fact that the farm is one big HEALTH CLUB).  You'll see where we get our energy!

7/25/09: WHERE do u get your energy? You're like the energizer bunny!  The place is beautiful, Kristin, I think that's where u get your energy--right from your farm!  Anyway, good job, Woman up!

Kristin,i am eating yummy, organic blueberries as I check email.  Great to see you and thanks for the peace bouquet! Peace & Blueberries, Kathleen, Woodstock

Kristin, the blueberries are yummy! Last night i took some of the acai juice, Organic Agave Nectar and your blueberries, added some ice and made smothies in the blender. They were the best.

I also froze some of the blueberries till next weekend for Jordan's birthday, she turns 16 on August 4th and I'm making an Angel Food cake with all organic ingredients -- I'll be making a fruit topping using your blueberries. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Talk to you soon and thank you for having me and the girls and sharing your beautiful farm :)

"Woman Up"!"

Blueberries for breakfast, K., thanks for that--they are my most real, whole, COLORFUL food for the day!  COLOR means "healthy", and not "dyed color"!
